Get some accident insurance, lady!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having a student teacher is great, it really is. You will enjoy it, but be ready to have your class back later.  She will learn so much from you! On the plus side, I never had to work for free like S.P. is doing, but the down-side is I was thrown into the classroom alone with ZERO experience.  It was pretty scary.  Good luck being on your own this semester!  You&amp;#39;ll do fine. Since I ...</title><content type='html'>Sounds like fun having a student teacher. Since I chose to opt out of the teaching credential (which I now sort of which I hadn&amp;#39;t), I missed that particular experience. I don&amp;#39;t know, though, I&amp;#39;m a bit shy like S.P., so I&amp;#39;d probably not have enjoyed one minute of it. I&amp;#39;m also not much for kids, so that might not have been good, either. On the other hand, I&amp;#39;m having a completely different experience because the GA program is sort of like reverse student teaching. I go to observation, then teach my classes, but this semester I don&amp;#39;t have an observation period, I&amp;#39;m on my own.
