I know Niecy, but luckily you've raised a wonderful son who has so many other ways to show his love and affection for you. But yes, I plan on smothering my little guy with affection as long as I can, until he's finally hollering out "Mooooooommmmmmm!" in that horrified voice. Then I guess it will be time to stop. :)

Happy Birthday, Elijah! I saw the pics on FB; he is so cute! Enjoy every minute with the little guy! You know me well and know how things are different with my little teenager and me. The love is there, that never goes, but they are not quite as willing to cuddle anymore. Really cherish these years.

Wow. I never thought about that Kristyn. It DOES seem crazy. My neice Cass is a freshman in high school now, which is right around the time that we met each other. And Trin turns 12 this spring.

Aw, happy birthday to your little guy. Sometimes it's so surreal that you and Shannon have kids that either are, or are approaching, the age we were when we met. It's crazy to think you have 10, or 12, or older kids. It's absolutely insane, but maybe I can't imagine it because I don't have kids. Anyway, I hope you have a nice day snow-tubing.
